PMT's history is rooted in the distant 1940s, when Giuseppe Stroppa, grandfather of current CEO Davide Sacco, founded Asturo Mec in Milan, Italy, a pioneer manufacturer of compressors and compressed air accessories, including high-quality airbrushes. Thanks to the excellence of its products, Asturo Mec quickly became a market leader.
In the late 1970s, the company moved to Calcio, where it continued its activities with the collaboration of Augusto Sacco and Felice Pedersoli. In the 1980s, with Stroppa's retirement, Essepi was born, marking a new phase in the family's entrepreneurial history.
In the mid-1990s, the entry of Davide Sacco, Augusto's son, into the company kicked off a new era of growth and specialization. PMT expands its product range, becoming a benchmark in the production of guns for extrusion of sealants, polyurethane foams, protectives and chemical anchors.
